he Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ga Central Municipal Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Adotey Allotey has assured residents within the municipality of the Assembly’s commitment in delivering quality healthcare by strengthening the health sector of the municipality.
He gave this assurance when he paid a working visit to the various health centres within the municipality.
Hon. Emmanuel A. Allotey together with the Municipal Director of Health Services, Dr Edwina Tettehkuor Appiah visited the Ga Central Municipal Health Directorate, Ga Central Health Centre, Israel Health Centre, and Tabora Health Centre.
This visit gave the Municipal Chief Executive an opportunity to assess their operational conditions and to also identify areas for improvement for better service delivery.
During the visit, Hon. Emmanuel Allotey emphasized on the importance of quality healthcare delivery and highlighted government’s efforts to improve health infrastructure hence announcing the construction, continuation and completion of a three-storey health facility at Ablekuma Abease for the assembly.
According to the MCE, the project is expected to enhance access to quality healthcare services and reduce pressure on existing facilities within the municipality.
The visit also aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Assembly and health sector stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery and improved health outcomes for the people of Ga Central Municipality.
